We were in spot one right next to garbage and sewer dump. I definitely wouldn’t have picked this site. We had to listen to all the diesel rvs as they used the dump station. It sounded like a bus terminal.
We stayed in a pull off the road spot. Next time I would choose a more secluded spot. There were bison and wild horses in the campground. It had nice views.
We stayed here for a week in 2 different spots because it is so hard to get even one night. The campground is conveniently located on the edge of glacier national park. There are ranger talks in the campground every night.
This campground is right by a lake with almost every activity you could think of! Only bad thing was owner was not in the office for hours at a time. Spaces are wooded and farther apart than most campgrounds. I wish we could have stayed longer than one night.
We stayed here at me night to be close to Bozeman. That was the only redeeming quality. They did have laundry. They also had a very loud train every so many minutes. We looked out on the car dealership next door. The site wasn’t level. It was 77 per night. The was a man sleeping in his car next to our site.
Another great campground in Olympic National park. This was close to hurricane ridge and port anglers. Great location between city and nature. Got a spot here the same day as camping. We
Private spaces between tall trees. This campground is close to forks Washington. We were able to get a spot at 5:30 in the afternoon.
We fell asleep to the sound of the ocean. Walk to the beach and find the tree of life. Go to beach 4 for excellent tide pools.
This beautiful wooded campground is close to the river by the Carter falls trail. We stayed at 3 different spots all unique. Only thing that was a little scary was many spots were closed due to hazard trees.
This campground is very close ( about a mile) from the famous garden of the gods natural monument. Tights are close. We heard traffic all night as our site backed up to the road.
Beautiful setting on the mountains. No hookups but that is to be expected in a National park. Deer roam throughout the campground. Animals can be spotted nearby in the valley.
We stayed here one night. Spots were ok. Pool and hot tub were closed in July. They didn’t say why. Lots of rules including 7/12 mph speed limit.
This campground never disappoints. Heated pool and lots of activities for kids. Camp with blueberries right outside your door!
Right on the beach! No need to pay for parking or lug your things too far. Only downside is small spots and no water hookups.
The employee we spoke with on the phone was very nice. She helped to accommodate us on a morning check in. The campground was quiet and had some full timers. Their campers were newer and looked nice. There is a pool but we were not able to use it due to COVID. There is a large park area close to office with large trees and a playground.
We paid over 200 for 2 nights. Due to pandemic the water park wasn’t open but for some reason we still had to pay full price. The spots are close together. The only we stayed here was because it was 10 minutes by car.
You can walk from your campsite to the beach. The campground is busy but worth it to be so close to the beach. The spots are tricky to get into because there isn’t much room. There is lots of shade which is great in the summer.
This campground is nestled in the tall North Carolina pines. There isn’t much shade though because the branches are mainly at the top. The camp sites are long and have plenty of room between camp sites. The campground has been recently redone and includes some cute cabins. We went on a boardwalk hike there. It said that red wolves and bear live on the area. We only saw deer.
This small campground is good only for small campers(20ft or smaller). The spots are uneven and many backup to a large hill. Some spots have decks. Be sure to bring an extension cord if you want to use power. The hookups are too far away. It was quiet and wooded. The best part is the proximity to Cumberland falls. ( .8 miles)
Pool was chilly but nice after a long day of driving. Surrounded by cornfields with interstate close it works for a quick stop. Don’t be fooled not all sites have cable as advertised.
