Like others have said- worth the extra money! The list of amenities you get access too are extensive- and if you have kids it will easily be the one of best camping trips you’ve ever taken. Pools, playgrounds, walking trails, free campfire shows, free fireworks, nice laundry facilities, & more. Lots of additional paid activities too. Even if you aren’t going to the Disney parks, staying here is an experience every RVing family should have! We found if you have a large RV, be sure to communicate that to the Check-In host, and they will actually help select a site that best suits your needs. The park is huge and has many different loops, some of which can be tough to navigate if you have a 40ft 5th wheel + Dually truck like us. We’ve been several time and can’t wait until we get to go again!
Quiet, beautiful natural surroundings. A steal for the price! Reserved online with no problems, and park host was quick to make sure we got in okay. Part of the park was closed (host said those sites were prone to flooding), but it was not busy and the waterfront area we stayed in still fit our large 5th wheel. Kids loved the playground! It was a great place to hide away for a few days.
Not a 5 star resort, but 5 stars for what it is! Right off the highway. Makes a great inexpensive overnight stop. Easily fit our 40ft+ rv. Limited pull throughs out front, so call Mrs Sheila ahead, she is very nice & helpful. Has basic amenities you might need to regroup during travel, like laundry & restrooms. Has a little workout room too! We have stayed many times traveling to/from Dallas, and will return.
