My husband and I love camping and to Cades Cove! There are numerous hiking trails and places to dip your feet in the creek! The campground sites are pretty spacious and and short walking distance to the general store and gift shop!
There is a lot to do at this campground! Hiking trails, dirt biking, the beach and canoeing and kayaking in the lake are included! There is also a water park for kids and a playground as well!
Nice campground by the Suwannee River! Plenty to do including canoeing, kayaking, biking, a nice playground for kids!
My only complaint was the camp site were a little close together. Other than that, it’s a beautiful park, with hiking and kayaking/ canoeing opportunities! There was also putt putt golf course as well which made for a fun time!
This park was filled with ample hiking opportunities, the Florida trail even runs through a bit of it. Within the first 5 minutes of being in the campground we saw a family of deer passing through, however we were the only ones there both nights. They have plenty of sites for both tents and RV’s. The campsites themselves had plenty of space. There is also a lake that you can swim in as well. Great campground for the summer!
We have not camped here, but we went kayaking down the river and it was perfect for a summer (or even winter) day! The water was crystal clear and bright blue in some areas. We plan to go camping here in August because we’ve heard nothing but marvelous reviews.
This is honestly my favorite state park! There is plentiful hiking trails, a swimming hole (if the dam isn’t opened), a swinging bridge, I believe even repelling opportunities, but you have to have a permit. If you have little ones, they have an education center that gives information about the park and wildlife. We went camping here in the fall and it was absolutely magical.
This is one of our all time favorite campgrounds! There is plenty of camping sites and plenty of excitement including a suspension bridge.
The campground itself is on the intercostal side and is covered in beautiful old trees which provides plenty of shade. The beach itself is beautiful and has plenty of parking. There is a trail that runs through the woods, then dunes and then the actual beach which I believe is about 4 miles long but it’s absolutely beautiful and well worth it.
