We took a couples float during the week to get away from our busy lives and relax. The huzzah resort is always top notch. Very clean(except the port-potties), great amenities and if you forget something you can always get it at the shop! The river was perfect and we practically had the place to ourselves with only one other tent in view! Not to bad for a Week day camp trip!
This camp ground is a little hidden gem and so pretty! It has running water bathroom and showers! They are so kind and aware. They make shuttling your personal watercraft SO easy! This camp are is very clean and family friendly! The river was pretty!
We arrived later and the staff was so attentive and kind! They remembered our groups names and were so kind at the shop! We had a large camp ground, two spots fit our group of 8 with room! We also had 5 vehicles. The camp sites in the #70’s are so close to the water and a short walk to the toilet/shower house! The bathrooms could have been cleaner and some of the lights were out but not the worst I have seen! (Your camping anyways) the float shuttle was a bumpy ride but the drivers were nice and the men at the raft pick ups were kind also! I would recommend this lil place! Maybe not In The summer time when the river is busy but to camp anytime!
Such a pretty camping sesh. Love this campground and its aminities it’s always cleaner and organized.
We had whole the campground basically to ourselves, another couple came the second night. When we arrived Angie helped us get in and met up with us to check in after we got all unpacked and everything. She even went out of her way to give extra details and help us with entry. There is running (hot and cold) water as well as wood and a few other little things for sale at the entry. It was very well kept and we could hear the river while we were sleeping in our tents (which was super relaxing). This little camp ground has float across and is so close to some super awesome trails! We took a 10.5 mile hike about 15 mins away from her site! Not to mention the cute little town surrounding it. I absolutely recommend this little hidden gem. Just watch your dogs, there are some owners in the homes around the campground that let their (big) dogs wonder. We have every intention of returning again!!
We booked our campsite very last minute and the staff was extremely helpful and kind! The only down fall to this reservation was we booked an electric tent site and the site the put us in and the ones around it had no electricity. The electric boxes were filled with wasps and spider webs… so if you book there be sure to make sure your reservations are correct! Other then that the camp ground was VERY homey and cute little place the shower houses were clean and they even had a little cafe and other entertainment things such as pizza and a little amphitheater! I feel like this is a local hidden gem! Will be returning here (hopefully on an electric lot lol)
I’ve been here a few times but stayed here for a birthday weekend away! The resort was completely booked up so the camping areas were a little full but no problem! The showers and bathroom house was walking distance from our camp but unfortunately a few of the showers on the female side didn’t work and all were extremely dirty.. (Sanitary products left inside showers and on floors along with other things) the porta potty’s were also super close to overflowing is what a few guys in my group stated. But the employees and bus drivers helped make the float trip and transfer there super smooth!! Nice place to stay if you bring your own shower and toilet!!
Stayed here this weekend (I usually go on a few float trips a year) and it was fun as always!! Cleanest showers and bathrooms so far this summer! The only confusing thing was the camping lots there was a little confusing over have the lost were separated but the security helps us and another group get it all sorted out with out issues. (If you’re staying here, lots are from the number to the LEFT) but over all great trip!! Cant wait to come back. I Met so many nice people!
