Great KOA to stay at near Clemson University. It's not on Lake Hartwell, but it is near it. Be sure to check out the camping cabins.

Great place to stay and visit. Be sure to check out the nearby town of Ninety Six and the Ninety Six National Historic Site.

Stayed here on a cross country camping trip. Made a reservation online and confirmed via phone. When we arrived, there was no one around to guide us to our site. We found a vacant site, figuring that we would check in the AM. When we were ready to leave, no one was still available. Otherwise it was a clean place to stay.

Chau-Ram is a small 25-site campground in the SC mountains near the Georgia border. It is suitable for tents, pop-ups, and smaller RV. Great little park with a waterfall, river rapids, and hiking trails.
