Beautiful rustic campground

We arrived at 2:00 PM and there was one site left for first come first served. It was a quiet place with some wonderful walks. Several hunters camping here, so next time I’ll bring orange.

Quiet but busy

There are hundreds of campsites here, but we found the nights to be exceptionally quiet. Beautiful beach, camp store, pool, hiking trails, and other amenities like this a very nice campground. There is no beach access for the dogs.

Well-kept Campground

KOA campgrounds really vary in so many categories. This one was super convenient to the hwy (consequently, some road noise through the night.) Very clean, great dog area, modern laundry, nice bathrooms. Showers were tepid, but very clean. I would stop here again. Ask for site #12 or #13 to be further from the road.

Nice camp spot

One bathroom and loop open but very quiet. Mostly watercraft uses in the reservoir. A nice overnight stay for us between destinations.

Hiking in the Ozarks

Nice campground with trails, visitor’s center, pool and café (closed for season), showers, very pleasant sites.

Great Ammenities!!!

Swimming, basketball court, baseball field, marina, showers, all within a HUGE campground. It is November 30th and we are literally the only people in five loops of this campground.

Older Army Corp campground

More rustic than we expected, but we still enjoyed our one night stay.

A possible stop on the way

The sign on the bathroom said it was closed for the season.

Small campground with close suites

Right on the highway bringing road noise, an all-in-one bathroom shower with only one male/female in each at a time, close campsites, and lots of ATV’s. A good place for us to stay the night, but not much longer.

Awesome trail biking

We only walked the trails but the many mountain biking trails here were quite impressive. Hot showers, clean bathrooms, flat campsite for our van, and excellent WiFi!

Peaceful stay off of Hwy 29

We stayed overnight on the lake (#45). The campground is very well maintained with clean restrooms. Though predominantly longer term campers, all sites were tidy. No pull through sites that I saw -some site seemed precarious for larger rigs. Loved the opportunity to let the dog swim Great wifi! Thank you for a lovely night’s stay!

Quiet and Good Location

Traveling Hwy 2, we were looking for a quiet spot. Clean bathrooms with showers, electrical hook up and water near by. “Lake” is small and silty. Perfect spot for a good night sleep, though. $25
