About
State Park
The site consists of 20 camping and picnic sites nestled in an oxbow of the Tongue River in the shade of large cottonwoods. There are two restrooms, a playground and horseshoe pits. Each camping and picnic site has a grill and table and two sites are ADA accessible. Connor offers a quiet, relaxing campsite, away from the hustle of the road in the peaceful shade of a river bottom. The park closes to camping and vehicles on October 31.
Site grounds open 24 hours.
Site grounds open year-round, weather permitting; camping permitted May 1 - Sep. 30.

Wonderful little park to stay.
What a wonderful little park to spend the night in. We found it by mistake and glad we did. The grounds are well kept and it was very quiet as well, well, with the exception of the occasional train going by but hey if that's a deal breaker, go else where.
There are a couple of pull-thru sites for large rigs and about 10 back-in sites for smaller ones. They are not numbered and no reservations, first-come first-served. There are different prices for resident and non-resident but are very reasonable either way.
There are "no" utilities, so come prepared. They do have water spigots in certain areas of the park but after Sept. 30th they shut them off, so... there is water to be had at the "Public Works" building across the river just as you come in, if you need. It is a spigot on the side of the building. We used our 30 gal. bladder to gain better access instead of pulling the 40' rig close by. They do have "vault toilets" within the park and are very clean.
Convenient location by the river
This is basically a city park, but away from the highway. Vault toilets, and the one near my campsite was reasonably clean. Lots of available sites, even on a Friday in mid-July. Fee is $20.34 for non-residents of Wyoming. There is a small playground for the kiddos and lots of grass for them to run around.
Maiden Voyage
This was close to home, because I'm preparing a travel van and it was perfect for a quick get away. It was a Sunday night stay, so it was super quite. Camp host was friendly, toilets clean and even got a visit from a Great Horned Owl!
