    St. Johns, Arizona

Lyman Lake State Park Campground, nestled near St. Johns, AZ, is a gem for those looking to escape into nature. This spot is open year-round and offers a mix of tent, RV, and cabin accommodations. The campground is known for its stunning desert views and peaceful atmosphere, making it a great place to unwind.

One of the standout features here is the clean and well-maintained bathrooms and showers. Just a heads-up, there's only one bathhouse, so if you end up parking far from it, be prepared for a bit of a walk. But hey, the views along the way are worth it. Speaking of views, the scenery around the lake is absolutely gorgeous, especially at sunrise and sunset.

For those who enjoy a bit of adventure, there's a cool hiking trail recommended by the rangers that you should definitely check out. The lake itself is a serene spot for kayaking, especially in the calm mornings. And if you're into fishing, the lake, despite being a bit low, still offers good catches.

The campground also has some spacious sites, perfect for big rigs, and amenities like electric and sewer hookups. Pets are welcome, and there's even a market on-site for any essentials you might need. Plus, the star-gazing at night is phenomenal, thanks to the clear desert skies.

Overall, Lyman Lake State Park Campground is a fantastic spot for a quiet, scenic getaway. Whether you're here for the hiking, the lake, or just to relax, you're in for a treat.
