Peaceful and quiet our last stop in our week long overlanding trip. Plus just 6 miles from our fav brewery in Iowa.
Place is perfect we are amping at scooters roost. Gorgeous, quiet, and heaven. Recommend to anyone!!!
Perfect setting, quiet and no people. We are in site 3 overlooking the River. We will come back again; each site had a trash and fire ring.
You camp on the sand first come first serve, loved it no facilities pure dispersed.
Not sure what to expect, was clean on a lake and no bugs. We were rookies in camping. Host were fantastic
We have stayed here twice, once planned once in last minute toward end of season. Clea, quiet, no electricity typical NF campground with pit toilets
Rustic campground, we were at site 16 loved it and booked more nights. No power and portable toilets are the grounds. The view of WA island and the power of lake mi is always there. There is a dumpster on site.
Lots of space . Grassy and leveled campsite .
The only con was the amount of mosquitos - bring plenty of bug spray or bug units to keep them away
One night stay, we were headed up to copper harbor MI. Clean and great bathrooms
Was not sure what to expect, simple yet perfect. 15 with clean toilets and not far from civilization. Would come again.
Great rustic campground in northern WI. Quiet, relaxing on a lake with little to no mosquitoes. Clean vault toilets, dumpsters, and fresh drinking water. Take note no cell service.
Picked up our care in Durant Oklahoma via Australia. Stayed on the water for two nights it was wonderful no bugs, just a campground, not much else around if you want to be alone not a bad place.
The campground manager was excellent, on the lake and no one around. Stay here if you can.
Normal campground, all things you need is it really camping……best part was the brewery in Knoxville
Great state campground, near Minocqua WI. Was clean and was a busy weekend of people but great space, little to know bugs.
Was quite, clean, and restful. The only challenge was mosquitoes they swarm so I recommend bug spray strong and screen tent. I appreciated the large dumpster on the way out, great job USNF!
