Quiet and clean

Stayed during a cross country trip.  Awesome location, 10 minutes from the expressway and on the river.  About a half dozen sites with a pit toilet that was stocked and clean.  My site was perfect for a tent, my dog and I enjoyed a peaceful night.  Will certainly stay here again when traveling through the area.

Remote and Quiet

Stayed one night with two other campers.  The sites are designed for people with horses and RV's.  Tent camping was a little rough but worked.  Very dry area so expect dust.  The stars at night were amazing.

Awesome Iowa

Came in late but found a spot, only 6 first come fist serve camping sites. I was a quarter mile from the next nearest site. Certainly a tent oriented campground, RV’s would have a difficult time. Will certainly stay here again. The hiking trail was perfect for a morning stroll with my dog and coffee and there certainly is a petting zoo (my German Shepard was a little uncertain about the goats)

Nice but high use

Found a site with no problem but clearly this is an RV focused campground. I did find a nice grassy area for my tent but my neighbors aren’t far. The river is nice and the walking trails are ok.
