We needed propane upon arrival but we were told only till 1130 am do they dispense propane. We were only staying for 1 night. The next morning we pulled to the propane tank and the woman at the counter stated it was only from 11 till 1130 am. It was 10 am at the time. They only dispense propane for 30 mins each day! I asked her if someone could possibly do it outside of the hours. She was very irritated but did ask someone to come up and help us. The man who helped us was also irritated. Our site was very basic gravel pull thru with sewer, water and 30 amp. The whole campground is only 30 amp. They have a lot of permanant residences around the perimeter of the campground.

Nice sites either blacktop, gravel or grass. Majority of sites have lake superior views. Has beachs. One for humans and one for canines. Great for bicycling, hiking, lazy days at the beach. Lake superior water is cold! Has jetty near beach with lighthouse. Great for fishing. Canal to Houghton/Hancock empties into lake next to beach. On western side of keeweenaw peninsula. Has very beautiful sunsets.

Nice spacious sites. Some are blacktop. 30-50 amp electrical. No sewer or water at sites but dump station and drinking water is available. Some waterfront sites on lake Wazeecha. Great hiking and biking trails. Self serve firewood available. Lake has water ski shows in the summer. Price $20 -$28.
