The online reservations were easy to make, and after talking to staff on the phone I found the website to be up to date. Staff were pleasant and the place is well kept. We got in at night, the night check in board was easy to find and the map showed us exactly our spot and the route to take to get to it. The stay was pleasant though there Is an airport nearby and steady traffic on the highway this is on. Check out? Just leave and it’s taken care of. I’ve never stayed at an easier place.

Staff is very nice and the place is run well. The turnarounds can be tight so know your rig. There’s a volunteer fire station nearby that uses an air raid siren and search lights to summon personnel. I did not like that, as it triggered some flashbacks.

Utility camping is a little close together for my liking. Still decent overall.

Campgrounds are laid out well, but it can get loud at night. The park rangers have their hands full and they do a good job with settling disputes and quieting the rowdy campers.
