Do not hesitate to follow the pretty accessible dirt road to reach the San Juan river and its nearby spots (turn left at the fork before the “Mexican hat” rock). Really quite amongst the trees.

This camping spot is so close from the busy road that we decided to find another one. It can be a good alternate spot and the view is really nice though.

Good spot for car camping. We were into the clouds when we arrived but in the morning we had a beautiful view. Some other campers around, really quiet and respectful.
