The restrooms are very old and not very inviting (a lot worse than most of the state parks I‘ve visited), shower door didn‘t lock, water was rarely warm and in the men‘s shower there was no light. Construction work began in the early morning, which was much noisier than the nearby railroad..
Very convenient reservation and check-in! If you want to take a hot shower, bring quarters - it’s 3$/7 Minutes. Restroom and showers were clean, but very old.
It is very dusty on the campground!
The road was tricky to navigate with a van, but we ended up at a spot overlooking the plains - beautiful sunset, lots of wildlife (and insects) and great starting point to explore the area.
Convenient location in the middle of the National Monument. Late Check-in was easy, camp hosts very nice and the restrooms clean and well kept.
