Lean fun state park

Great access to river activities and hiking

Access to awesome floating, and canoeing

Nice state park with access to the river for water activities. Books up way in advance so make reservations early

Mostly private and filled year round

Some times there are openings but it’s primarily seasonal campers so make sure to call a head

Really neat place

Fun activities for all skill levels or just sit back and relax

Very family friendly

Nice clean place. Activities for the kids and adults

Family friendly

Family friendly. Far from off grid camping. Quiet at night so very pleasant

Nice clean place

Typical IL camp ground. Clean, filled with good people. No major towns or anything directly around it so it’s nice and quiet

In town camp ground

Open camp ground in town. Fun for the kids. Designed mostly for campers

Good camping great hiking

Nice clean and quiet camp ground. Gets very full but people were respectful. Hiking in the park is great. Has a ton of steps/stairs

Lake side camping at its best

Tent camping right on the lake. Camper camping right next to it.

Primitive camp site but super quiet

Bring your own firewood. From inside the state of IL of course. The hiking is incredible.

Tent and camper camp ground next to good state park

State park offers some good hiking and all season activities. Camp ground was quiet and clean.

Small camp ground next to state park.

It’s close to a small town if you forget little things. Due to it being close to some big towns it can fill up.
