Came in a Tesla Model 3 after supercharging at Lone Pine.
Very hard to navigate at night, recommend to show up during the day.
Roads are well maintained, look out for signs that show where you can/can’t settle down.
Woke up to lots of rocks
Went camping during the winter (Jan) in a Tesla Model 3.
First come, first serve campsites. 15$ a night.
Campfire setup ready to go, nearby market to buy supplies. Bench at each campsite, nearby restrooms and water. Trash disposals.
Nearest supercharger in Tusayan, about 10 miles away from the campsite.
Camped overnight in a Tesla Model 3.
Cons: Very hard to navigate at night - can't really see anything. Dusty
Pros: Lots of space - never too close to anyone Starry sky
Thoughts: I’ve read that you can camp in the parking lot of the nearby casino where the superchargers are, maybe that would have been a better option.
