Pretty typical for an RV Park…lots of people, dogs and trailers. Showers and bathrooms are nice and clean. Not ideal for tent camping cause the sites are very close together and it gets loud in the morning, but if you can’t get a spot inside the park, this is a good option.
The campground itself is good..sites all have a table, fire ring and grill but there’s nothing really to do in the surrounding area except for one hiking trail..it would of been nice if the creek wasn’t dried up..we had campsite #29 which seems to be one of the better ones along with #33 and #8
Lots of good fishing, kayaking and boating. Big campsites with some beachfronts. Highly recommend
Joshua tree is an excellent campground except there is no running water at this park. Make sure you get to the outhouse early in the morning or you’ll be forced to endure the stench of other campers waste. Lots of good hiking trails and rock formations if you’re into climbing. Be mindful of hot temps during summer months
This place is a good campground but the sites are to close together. A few hiking trails in the area but the best option is a 30 minute drive to a 3 pool gorge that you can swim and frolick in.
