We went here as opposed to the nearby camp site we usually go to. Big mistake. The sites are so close together that it is uncomfortable. Despite this, we had to park and haul our gear basically right through other people’s campground to get to our site. I would honestly rather pitch a tent in the backyard. I wouldn’t ever come back to this campground.

Staff is very friendly. Office is in building right off the road. Pleasant, sandy camping. It’s especially nice if you grab a spot on the edge of the river. The river is very clean and a nice spot to hang out in the sun and splash around (not very deep most of the year).
