Awesome spot!

This spot was perfect for us. There’s of shade from the trees and a beautiful creek.

We arrived at around 3pm and no one was around. By 5pm a good amount of people started driving in a picking their spots. We chose a spot right at the beginning of the road so I’m not sure how close the other campsites are to each other, but we could hear groups on both sides of us talking most of the evening (we didn’t mind, it’s just something to be aware of if you’re looking for a space that’s more quiet).

We walked over to the other side of the creek and there were a bunch of sites over there as well.

It’s about a 20 minute drive from the Zion entrance in Springdale, and about a 10 minute drive from the left fork north creek trailhead.

No campfires are currently allowed due to wildfire risk, so all the fire pits are filled. Make sure you bring a propane stove if you plan on cooking anything!

Overall, super pretty!

Favorite site in Wyoming

It is SO pretty here! We stayed at site 11 right next to the little river and it was so peaceful to fall asleep and wake up to the sound of the flowing water.

They have bathrooms and water pumps easily accessible from any site.

The spots are close together but there were a ton open so you don’t really notice.

Pretty

It’s a pretty spot, but we were unfortunately unable to stay here because a couple was already there and they asked us to leave because they wanted the spot to themselves - which we understood.

They also blocked the road that goes pass the site with their truck so we weren’t able to drive any further to see if there was anywhere else in the area, but upon looking at satellite view of the coordinates, the road seems to go on a bit further so if you have the chance to drive through there may be more potential sites.

The road is a bit rough and you definitely need a high clearance vehicle to drive through.

Tons of wildflowers and trees everywhere. A very private spot right off the highway.

We ended up staying at Allred Flat campground just a mile or so up there road. It’s $10 a night - $5 if you have a pass - and in my opinion was even prettier than this site.

SO beautiful

We stayed at site 16, and it provided an incredible view of the Grand Teton mountain range with tons of flowers and trees surrounding the area. It’s a bit more hidden compared to other sites with a path off the main road.

The main road was a bit rough for us to go up despite us having a 4x4 high clearance truck, but it’s pretty old and we saw a ton of trailers and RVs make it up the road. Other newer 4x4s made it up no problem.

We stayed three nights, and a couple pulled into our spot and stayed on our last night which we didn’t mind because the site is pretty big; site 16 can definitely host more than one group if you don’t mind sharing a spot.

There seemed to be a lot of people that would drive up the mountain, pass us, and then turn back around a few minutes later because all the spots were full. From what I saw, there were a lot of spots open from around 7am to 10am so that may be the best time to get there.

Forest service regularly drives around on UTV and checks up on people. They’re super nice and just want to make sure you’re doing okay and following the forest rules such as keeping your food/trash out away from bears and completely putting out your campfire (note: make sure you bring A LOT of water - like at least two gallons or so - to put out your campfire if you plan on having one because the strong wind on the mountain will keep the fire going. the couple that stayed in our spot with us got in a bit of trouble with forest service for not putting out their fire at the end of the night after they went in their tent for bed).

There’s a lot of little hiking trails in the area and there’s a small trail right below site 16 that a lot of people ride their bikes on.

Overall, it was a beautiful site that’s hard to beat.

Kinda creepy

The area is beautiful with lots of cattle around. We pulled into this spot at around 5pm. We saw two spots in total right next to each other but there may be more a bit up the road. There’s a lot of trash and shot up cans at both sites but it didn’t ruin the surrounding beauty.

There was NO one there except one guy that road by on his UTV and then eventually packed up and left right before sun down.

It was nice to have no one around us… until we were scoping out the area behind us and walked across the dried up stream to see a tree with a bunch of random things tied and hanging from it. I’m sure it was just someone messing around but it was WEIRD (see video).

We decided to leave because we couldn’t rest easy after seeing that. I’m sure we would’ve been fine but with it being just two of us, we didn’t want to risk potentially running into someone weird - especially knowing that there was someone that took the time to individually tie up each thing to a tree, create a pathway, and cover half of it with branches so it’s more hidden.
