Awesome spots along the roads in this area. We had to leave our very private site one day and left a few things behind — sadly it was all gone when we came back. Lesson learned, but a big bummer.

About 8 miles from i94 (3-4 miles of gravel road) this is nice clean camping area close to the river. We have a eurovan and parked in the parking lot - no specific camping spots were marked. It was raining and thundering so we didn’t have much of a chance to explore but it looked beautiful and well maintained with a mix of trees and nice grassed areas. One bathroom. There are train tracks very close, and we did hear 2-3 trains go by. I’d totally stay here again. Thanks to the folks who maintain the park!!

Great spot to camp if you’re road tripping and want easy access to i94. Quiet, walking trail, several spots available.
