This is our 2nd visit to Perrot SP. both visits have been for just short of a week. Campground is spacious and nice vegetation between sites. Sites range from mostly sunny to almost cave like when leaves are on the trees.
There is a rail line that runs along between the Mississippi and the park edge, campsites are away from this but still can be heard as well as motor boats on the River. Secluded but close to civilization. Good hiking trails and overlooks. A favorite pastime is early in the morning and listening to the Cranes calling from their rookery nearby.
