Beautiful Appalachian scenery

Nice campground in a beautiful area. Restrooms and shower houses were very clean. Beaches could use some improvement, the smaller beach had goose poop all over. The larger beach at turkey creek was a little better with sand but not one of the nicer beaches I’ve visited. Very quiet campground was very peaceful and relaxing!!!

Campground had a nice well maintained pool with lifeguards. Campground had clean bathrooms and showers, and everything was well maintained. Would have liked more hiking trails. Only hiking trail is rather boring. The camper hosts nag about a lot of minor things that we’ve never experienced out of the several Ohio state parks we’ve camped out. So I would say average place.

Great beach but little rocky, hence the name I guess

Overall we enjoyed our camping experience at this state park!  Enjoyed archery and kayaking that was offered by the naturalist who was super nice and knowledgeable.  Had a great time

Peaceful campground

Great place to relax!

Beautiful views!!!

Nice campground!!

Beautiful and so much to explore!

Lots of trails that have beautiful scenery!!! Very relaxing and the campground has a great refreshing pool!!

One of my favs!!!

Overall great campground! We try and make it a must every year!!!

Huge, Hiking, wildlife

The one factor that really decreased rating for me is that the beach that's within the campground is closed down. So end up driving 25-30 minutes to the other side of the lake that does have a great beach area. My husband complained that there was only 2 bathroom stalls in the campground loop we were at. However the bathrooms were nice with hot water. Overall nice peaceful place with friendly staff and campers. Just need to improve beach on campground. We seen so many deer while we were camping so that was awesome too!
