Nice campground, but narrow spots that are close to each other. We have a 35 foot 5th wheel with sides that fit okay. Getting out was a little tighter because of the narrow roads. It was okay, just smaller than other campgrounds. They have wifi and cable, 2 pools and a park for the kids too. They also had a band and wine tasting the day we were there. If you are military or a vet they give discounts too.
We had booked a pull thru site and they asked to change our spot because they were having a party that day in that area. I was okay with it until we got there and tried to pull into the spot. We have a 35 foot 5th wheel and they put us on the far end where it was hard to turn. It took a lot of turning and backing up to get into this spot. The spot had a huge concrete barrier so people wouldn't drive up on the sand area. If that wasn't there it would have been easier to get into the spot bit we couldn't go forward anymore. There was also a chain link fence in the way. We camped with others that had smaller 25 foot travel trailers and they got into their spots okay. If you have a big trailer, don't get these spots at the end (L-28). The lady that said we would fit no problem obviously has never tried to park a big trailer there. Bring your own fire pit too. They don't have any.
Love the pull thru sites. We have a 34 foot 5th wheel and it was easy to get into these spots. Some spots don't have full hookups so look before you book your spot. All these pictures I took are in full hook up areas. When we checked in we got a mug and candy which was nice. The lady that checked us in was really nice and helpful. It was nice just to get away and camp anywhere. The rec room has a pool table and games, coffee, popcorn. They also have military discounts here.
We have a 35 foot 5th wheel and a lot of these spots seem small and hard to get into. We have stayed in site 128 and 129 which are pull though and easy to get into. I would book these spots if they are available. The spots in front of us seemed very narrow and a couple trailers had a hard time getting in (around sites #169&170). One site they couldn't even open their awning because of a tree. Motorhomes seemed to fit in these spots better.. We have stayed here a couple times and will probably come back because it's close to a lot of things. Right behind spot 128 is a street kids can ride bikes in. There is also a chain length fence with a walk way on the other side. If you have bikes lock them up. Somebody stole my friends bike. Try and check in online so you don't have to wait. My friend checked in that way. I didn't realize they had that option so I went inside to check in.
This is a very clean, beautiful RV park. It's easy to get into with big trailers. We have a 35foot 5th wheel and no problems getting in. It's a newer park so not a lot of shade trees. Bring an ez up. Lots of wineries along the road. We did the wine line and they pick up and drop off at the campground. They also have cabins you can rent if friends want to go but they don't have a trailer.
We have a 35 foot 5th wheel and the spots we like here are 37, 50-52, 38-41. We haven't stayed in any other sites so I'm not sure how they are for bigger trailers. We have been going to Wishon for years and it's our favorite spot. 20 min drive to Courtright. The road is a little windy to Wishon. It's about 40 min past Shaver Lake. There is no signal unless you buy the wifi internet pkg. I can't remember the price but around $15 for 3 days I think.
This place is okay it's just small and loud. It's hard to get bigger Rv's into spots also. We have a 35' 5th wheel and there are only some spots that will fit it. It looks like motorhomes fit in a lot of these spots okay. Maybe it was easier to get in for them? If you like to walk There is a path that will take you to the ocean. It's about a quarter of a mile walk in sand. There is no sidewalk. It is also very loud her with the freeway right behind you. It didn't bother us in the day. At night I had a sound machine so it didn't bother us. Our neighbors ended up leaving after a day because of the noise.
