Standard KOA

This is your standard KOA with RVs and tents on top of each other. If you are just looking for a place to stay for the night, this campground will work great. If you're looking for peace and quiet over a weekend, look elsewhere

HIGHLY recommend

I would HIGHLY recommend this hostle either for the private rooms, shared rooms, glamping or tent sites. It is INCREDIBLY clean, with such nice people.  It is a perfect stop off for a break on the SHT. It has a big shared kitchen with a fridge that you can store food in over night. My wife and I got one of the private rooms for the weekend, and we will definitely be doing it again soon

Quiet rarely used

This is a very quiet, rarely used campsite. We canoed over to it which makes it feel more remote than it actually is. Had a lot of luck fishing for trout as well!

Simple but solid

This is a very simple but solid campground. I stayed here while fishing the Brule River and would recommend it

Epic views!

This campground is amazing! We had a "hike in" campsite which was a gravel trail about a quarter mile in from the parking lot. Our site overlooked Lake Superior and had a stunning view of the light house. I would very highly recommend this campground. It was clean, had nice bathrooms and easy access to everything

Decent campground

This is a standard campground. Not quite KOA like but the sites are decently close together. A little hiking in close area but if you're willing to drive a bit there is tons to do. I would recommend this campsite

EPIC!

This is an EPIC campsite! You get your own cart (each campsite as one assigned) and it is maybe a quarter mile cart in. The campsite has a nice picnic table, with a fire grate near by, and also has a really nice woodchip bed for the tent. The best part however is the stunning view. There is a bench that is on the edge of a cliff down to Lake Superior with a phenomenal view of the lighthouse! Would highly recommend

Meh

Great place to hike around at however the campsites are stacked on top of each other. We had a very rude and loud family come in late at night blasting music. Each spot had a picnic table and fire ring

Nice, clean campground

Stayed here on the last night of a 2 week road trip. Didn't get in until very late but there was still a few sites open that you could pay for one entering the campground. Bathrooms were nice and clean and the campsites were solidly spread out. Our campsite was literally right next to the lake!

Favorite site

Went on a week long at trip to Yellowstone and the tetons and this was my favorite site During our trip. Lots of space between campsites, decent bathrooms along with amazing views make for a great campsite. There are a few group sites, and firewood for sale along with safe food storage and garbages.

Perfect!

This is a decent campsite, a little KOA like with how many sites there are but overall nice. They have great showers along with a nice bathroom. There is amenities around that you can use like a store, gas station, etc.

AMAZING

This campground was AMAZING. Just a few miles from the Yellowstone North Entrance, this is a cheap campground with a decent amount of campsites. They are nicely spaced, and all of them have food storage for bears. Each site also has a perfect fire ring and picnic table

Typical KOA

This is your typical KOA, very nice staff, very clean but lots of people. It is also RIGHT next to a train track which ran all night

AWESOME Campground

This is a great campground with a ton of sites. None of them have electric but they all have an amazing fire ring with a grill on top along with a nice area to park a car as well as a flat area for a tent!
