It was late in the season so we didn't do a lot of exploring the resort. But from what I could tell, the grounds were well maintained, staff was friendly, and there were plenty of activities and amenities to keep our kids busy for the weekend.
Great campground close to home. A ton of activities for the kids, plus daily Yogi sightings! We picked two great sites on the end of the row that were spacious, but I saw others were pretty cramped. Beautiful wooded surroundings with a lake, paddle boats, etc. The kids loved the playgrounds, general store, and the crafts. The only annoying thing was all the golf carts! Holy cow, non-stop all day until 11pm. I don't understand where these people are going, unless part of their entertainment is just cruising in circles all day and night. It's pretty annoying. But we overall had a great time.
We're fairly new campers and our friends introduced us to GRO. It's a perfect distance from home for a weekend trip. Plenty of stuff for our kids to do. Pools, activities, playgrounds, fishing, etc. Friendly service, too!
