Quiet and a little off the beaten path

A great place to stay outside of the west enterance of Yellowstone. A bit of a drive ~20min to West Yellowstone. Off the beaten path down a gravel road. Quiet and beautiful lake views. No flush toilets or dumpsters so just be aware of that. Campsites were clean and well maintained.

Great place to hit both Tetons and Yellowstone

Campground was great! Quiet, clean and inside of Tetons NP. Being on northern part of Tetons easy short drive up to Yellowstone. Campsites had picnic table, fire ring and bear box. Small dated bathroom behind office but was kept very clean. Flush toilets and sink. Fire wood available at office. Great stay, would stay again. Reserve in advance.

Great place to stay

We enjoyed our stay. The park office had everything well taken care of. We arrived late almost at sundown but they had an envelope waiting with instructions, a parking tag and a map. This is a hike in campground so we were in a hurry. The campground had lockers with firewood and you could leave the money in the envelope at the trailhead. The site was very private with a fire ring and picnic table and two pads for tents. The only complaint (and this isn’t the parks fault) is you aren’t far off the beaten path so car exhaust and jet noise was prevalent throughout the night. All in all happy with the stay and it served us perfectly as we were just passing through the area!

Cozy little campground

We stayed at the Catawba River campground which you can park and walk-in to your campsite. The sites were all so unique and cozy in a little circle path that takes you down by the water. So many nice little places to hang a hammock and relax. The sites down by the water are awesome. The bathrooms were clean and there was a woman at the parking lot assisting with firewood etc. The fire pits are more of just a cooking option as they are small and open on both ends. The night we stayed there was a horrible wind storm with gusts up to 50mph so that made things a little nerve wracking in a tent under trees, but no damage done. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!

Peace, quiet and beautiful waterfalls

We loved this place. It is a hike-in campground so know that before you go, probably 1.5 mile hike so nothing crazy. Once there the sites are nice and cozy with decent space between you and your neighbors. The peace and quiet from being out in these woods was wonderful. Each site has a fire pit and a picnic table. The hikes to the waterfalls are easily accessible and totally worth it. If you aren’t into primitive camping this might not be for you.

Beautiful beach and stargazing galore

The beach access is super convenient and the beach is absolutely perfect. The stargazing at night is exceptional. Camping is pretty tight as spots are close together but it gets the job done. Beware of bugs, biting flys were quite the nuisance. But overall a great stay and the nighttime stargazing here is something that is just hard to find anymore.
