I would advise against camping during stormy weather, but if you've packed in everything you'll need your rain forest experience will be an awesome adventure.
With Long Beach, Astoria, and Seaside all within an hours drive, this campground is a great base camp for exploring the beautiful Pacific coast & learning about its history.
I prefer winter camping here because its less crowded, and the storms coming in from the Pacific are nothing less than awe inspiring.
