KOA friendly, lots of amenities

Typical KOA, with tightly packed RVs. Nice amenities pool, hot tub, restaurant, playground.

Typical state park

Normal state park facilities. Park has several swimming lakes and Appalachian trail running through it.

Lots of sites. Beautiful lake

Great park. Clean bath houses

Swimming, fishing, biking, hiking

On the lake. Good private tent sites in the woods.Rv sites too.

Cheap, private, close to RMNP

No services other than porta-johns. Private quiet nature setting. Close to the park. Lots of Hummingbirds in our site.

Clean, Beautiful, cheap, windy

The camping is very spread out making sites private even with few trees and open spaces. Lots of wildlife and trout in the lakes.

Very windy on the days we were there. Not sure if that’s the norm or just was a storm front while we were there.

inexpensive too.

If you want water and electric at your site book well in advance.
