Close to Stanley, great site managers, and nearby lakes/trails make this a great place for all campers! (Our rig was 33ft class A)
Our 33ft class A was able to get up to the Upper Teton View but only with some serious finagling. If you're a confident driver do it, otherwise caution.
The site is gorgeous, the views immaculate, was crowded when we visited but so was everywhere because of post-Covid travel. Highly recommend! (Bugs definitely an issue as someone else mentioned)
Decent view of the Tetons if you're in the front of the dispersed gravel patch, but it gets crowded so don't count on a view. Nice place for big rigs, porta potty included on site.
Note: we tried to take our big rig up the road to further spots past the gravel patch and I would not recommend it. The road is not wide enough for large rigs and it was exceedingly crowded in the back due to a summer camp (?) being there and tons of people.
Stopped here on the way to Tetons from Grand Junction, CO and after a midly harrowing journey through the pass on our old, large RV we arrived right as the sun was setting. Only regret was we didn't stay longer!
Note: our rig was a 33ft class A and the dirt/gravel roads on the way in can be difficult especially if wet/rainy. Would recommend caution for similar rigs. We were able to do it but we're also dumb and lucky :)
