yuck

This was probably my least favorite camping experience. The sites are very close together, there were kids playing in the bathroom constantly, the "lake" was gross and too small for the amount of people swimming. There was little access to trails for natural areas for fishing or just viewing. Our entire group came back with Chiggers as well. Would not recommend.

hiking and 23 waterfalls!!

This place is just gorgeous! The hiking is challenging but worth it! It took us about 3 hours to hike down and back up. We stopped at several falls and went in the water. There are little pools everywhere. It is crowded some but enough room for everyone. The campgrounds and wonderful. Clean and full of wildlife.

canoe or hike-in camping

This place is exceptional for the NorthEast Coast. Not too far from NYC or Philadelphia. It is hike-in or canoe-in only. I'd opt for canoeing for the most enjoyment. It's very secluded once arriving to the a campsite. I've been about 5 times and have only seen one other person. There are no showers but there are pit toilets. The lake is beautiful though swimming is not allowed (but after 5 we jump in when the rangers are gone). Easy to find wood for fires, very clean (though once we followed a group that didn't clean up after themselves). It's a real getaway!!
