Historical

Small but nice campground.   Sites are decent and paved.  Facilities are adequate and clean.  Nice hiking trails but trail to the old fort wasn't clearly marked and difficult to follow, use a map.

Close together

Site's are close together.   We book a site on the river but they built a sloppy levee that blocks your view of the river.

1st class

Plenty of room, great handicap facilities.   Nice store on site with boat rentals.

Tight

Gold hiking trails but most RV sites are built up for parking but a lot of sites drop off steeply right off the pavement.   Facilities are fair but dated.

Not for large RV's

One of the nicest parks in West Tennessee but not for RV's over 26 feet.  Great hiking.

Great Campground

This Corp of Engineers camp is top rated.  Clean and excellent facilities.   Near casinos if that is your thing but I love the fishing

Old Forest

The campground is located in an old hardwood forest.  The park goes to the Mississippi River but no camping there.  There are also some nice fishing lakes on the ridge and interesting swamp hiking below.  Facilities are outdated and could use some improvements.   I haven't been in a couple of years but probably will.   Not all sites will accommodate a large RV so plan ahead.

Nice Park and Museum

The park and museum were great.  Plenty to see and do, not far off the highway.  Caution on entering park, old steel Bridge is narrow but passable with my class A.  Also be sure you check the power stand on your site.  Voltage was very low at most sites, we went around to test each pole to find a safe site to plug into.

Remote camp

This is a large campground with excellent facilities.   Big South Fork is located in a very remote area of TN and KY.  Miles of Great hiking, biking, horse and motorized trails.  There is plenty to see and all of it is beautiful.   One of my favorite sites is the Twin Arches, worth the hike.

Beautiful

We have visited twice. Great park, my favorite in the state. Love hiking on the bald peaks.  We stayed in March 2019 and was caught in a surprise snow storm.   We had the most fun on this trip.  The State had the roads plowed by noon so we were never stranded.   Great facilities, clean and warm.

1st Class

Full hookups,  level, clean and top rated bathroom facilities.   The view is great from every camp spot.  The lake is a top fishing lake with no commercial or residential developments on the lake.

Basic but great place to stay

We stay there several times a year.  Great hiking the lake is always fun.  It is near enough to Hot Springs.  Also near plenty of quartz mines.  My favorite place in Arkansas.
