Reserve early for best sites

Very nicely kept campground with some great motorcycling roads. Some very great sites with lake views, but they go fast. Book early. Just 10 minutes to get supplies and ice. The attendant at checkin was kinda rude, but our park host was great. Brings firewood to your site daily.

Between a Rock and a Hard Place

We managed to arrive just before dark so didn’t really take in our surroundings until daybreak. Wow what a spot. Right off the road between the two canyons. Snuggling.

Views are stunning

Woke to bison wandering through our campsite. It was really amazing site.

Magnificent

Truest one of the best State Parks in the Nation. Lots of hiking and the views are spectacular.

Awesome

One of the nicest SP in Texas. Great views and the bluebonnets are abundant in spring

Really nice park, but

Very nice park with some great RV spots. If hiking, beware the Coyote Run Trail. A lot of toxic fracking going in in the area.
