Great Location When Passing through Eastern Arkansas

We stayed in Site# 2  💦🔌💩

Amazing campground for a pass through campground(the lack of laundry/bathhouse held us back from 5)

WiFi-✔️▫️Streaming- from phone Cell Service AT&T Verizon- both had good service

Accessibility- Easy to get to

Sites- Pull Thru and Back In available, gravel sites, fairly level, small, no table, no grill, no fire ring

Amenities- None

👍🏻This RV Park was conveniently located off I40, easy to get into, very clean, super friendly owners, we felt safe, very laid back atmosphere with minimal paperwork(no signing your life a way😉), and a perfect stop to spend the night on your journey.

👎🏻There are no amenities, no bathhouse, no laundry, sites are a little tight, no picnic table, fire ring, or grill. While this RV Park is lacking all the“extras” it is perfect for stopping through to spend the night or even as a place to stay while in town for work. There were several restaurants, gas stations and some grocery stores, including a Walmart, nearby. Going into this park with the appropriate expectations(just a quick stop to sleep) is key.

The Diamond of Mississippi State Parks

We've camped  to Tishomingo State at least 3 times in the last 6 months. It's the first site we visited after purchasing our Wildwood Travel Trailer. Sites are level and most are easy to back the trailer into. No full hookups but all the sites have electricity and water. Plenty of trees and amazing views from all the site. Cellphone coverage is not good here for Verizon or AT&T. Better at front of camp.

I can't state enough how much there is to do in Tishomingo! Plenty of trails that would satisfy an Ultramarathoner. A lake for fishing (honestly never seen anyone catch a fish 🐟) and canoeing. Tishomingo has disc golf, large pavilions, and historic sites to visit.

Overall it's always clean when we've been there but there is quite a bit of age on the campsite. Roads are pretty rough in areas as well.

Looking for Breath Taking Views?

Not sure where to start as the pictures don't do justice to the location. We stayed late in November and absolutely loved it! Full hook-ups and blazing fast WiFi. I streamed the game outside while the kids streamed Disney+ inside.

Make sure to opt for the creek sites. More expensive but totally worth the cost. Camp host are super helpful. Wood available for purchase.

Getting to the location is a bit of a challenge with small roads and some dirt roads. If you are looking for a spot with a hiking this wouldn't your final destination. Close to the interstate which making getting groceries and food easy.

Did I mention the amazing views!

Perfectly Designed for RV Newbies!

Loved this park! It was our first trip in our new Travel Trailer and it couldn't have gone better. We stayed at Yellow Hammer site #9 easy pull through with plenty of room. Not only did all the sites have amazing scenery but the roads were well maintained. Full hookups and AT & T cellphone coverage good enough for working from Trailer. Verizon cellphone coverage didn't work here. Each site fully equipped with fire ring, picnic table, and lantern poles. Wood available for purchase from host.

Beach & Bath houses were closed due to COVID-19

We spent a lot of time walking with our kids on the trails and riding scooters around the campsite roads. Nature trails were extremely well kept with great views on the water

Best site is Yellow Hammer #17
