this was my first time camping in this area. I made a reservation as it was late June. camped in lower campground. no hookups here but was able to walk out to beach from our site. lots of trees in the sites and bathrooms clean

I was here in mid April and it was almost full. had nice pull thru site and very friendly camp host. I hav 18 foot trailer and had hookups for dirt cheap. sites are close together

it was April and still a bit cold but there were only 4 sites occupied here and we had the sites right on the water front. it’s more like a parking lot but some sites have trees. I have 18 foot travel trailer and can’t beat the price for hook ups

I stayed 2 nights last winter before it got crowded. cool little camp ground amidst the hustle and bustle of a busy beach town. I was tent camping and had a nice site that backed up to marsh land.

if you want serenity and lots of beach to yourself this is it. it is located out on peninsula and there is no thru traffic. day use area but so much beach you have lots of solitude.
