Great Campground!

So well maintained, it is way back in the woods. Cell service was on the struggle bus the whole time, but overall this is a great little place.

It's fine.

The price was right and I had water and electric hookups, but basically I was in a parking lot and all the grass around is full of briars. Made it really hard to walk the dog. Proximity to the beach was also really, if only the weather was a little better. The showers are a quarter pay situation and I paid $1.50 for a cold shower. When I went to ask the front office about it, they basically said "sometimes you have to run the sink for a minute". Sorry, but I am paying quarters for a shower that never gets warm that's a big dissapointment and then to met with indifference about it, hence the two stars. I also don't like that you don't get to pick your spot, you just show up, pay and they tell you where you are staying. It was the off season, so maybe things are better in full swing summer.

Great Place!

Only stayed one night, but so wish I had stayed more! Well kept sites with lovely picnic table covers on each one.

Great sites

This site is great, but seems like a local party spot. A large group was allowed to be noisy well past quiet hour, I went over to talk with them and they still were bumping music until at least midnight. No one seems to care about being quiet.

Nice place, not maintained

It’s a really nice site, but the running water bathrooms were not cleaned regularly and the pit toilets were almost overflowing on a Thursday. The site was also filled with garbage when we arrived.

Sloped sites

Enjoyed the campground, but the sites were very sloped and the rv sites were pretty close together. We stayed at one of the more spread out sites. I’d go again, but they should maybe make some tent pads for the tent sites.

Great!

Will be going back for sure! So much fun things to do.

Gorgeous

Gorgeous views! The camp site host was a bit rude, be curious how it is in summer. Spent one night in a tent while driving from Texas to Illinois. The geese are vocal.
