Nice secluded spot

This was a very nice spot and felt very private. Unfortunately the dirt road is a pretty heavily used off-road trail so there were several groups that went by while we were there. Nothing annoying but they will be coming by.

The ground is super fine sand, but my Ford Fusion made it up the road no problem. In wet conditions I could see it being super muddy.

There’s one massive gravel area closer to the main road which had two RVs. We went about half a mile up the trail and found another sandy spot on the left. Presumably there’s more farther up but we didn’t look

Quiet spot

This is a decent campsite. Nothing amazing but the lake is nice. The bathrooms aren’t particularly clean so I chose not to shower. The sites are very wide open so you won’t have much privacy.

Covered in snow

The site was covered in snow, and there was a sign saying no camping in snow clearing conditions. Additionally you aren’t allowed in without a Sno-park permit from November 1st to may 31st.

For those that can get it, I had no service with Verizon or t-mobile

Nice spot to stay

The view of the lake is nice and there are plenty of spots to the right down the road. The farther back you go, the rougher the road gets. There’s only one bathroom right at the entrance only realistically accessible by the first site. At the time I went it was fairly buggy as you’re right on the water. No service with Verizon

Great view

Great view of the mountains and plenty of sites. Wasn’t too busy but others were around. There were bathrooms and some sites had fire rings. 93 is close so there is some mild highway noise but nothing unbearable. Bathroom was reasonably clean and stocked with toilet paper. I had full bars with Verizon (the cell tower was within line of sight) but my friend with t-mobile had no service whatsoever. Overall a nice inviting site.
