The Road is OPEN as of 4/6.
I loved this campsite! Found a secluded spot farther back on the road surrounded by trees and a beautiful view of distant mountains. Perfect place to get the dog some exercise too. Quiet and close to Bryce Canyon entrance.
This didn’t have the best views compared to some other campsites on this app but you can’t beat the location! Very close to Arches & FREE… which is so nice in this popular area. They had clean port-a-potties & lots of spots to park.
This was a great spot near the entrance of the National Park. Lots of spots available. It was very windy the night we were there, but otherwise great, quiet place with beautiful star gazing at night.
This is one of my favorite spots we’ve camped! This particular spot is at the base of the mountains and had a large flat area perfect for our Sprinter, a fire pit, and large rock formation great for climbing. We even had some prong horned sheep near us on the mountain. The sunrise and stars at night were unreal. It was easy to get to, a long dirt road that splits off from the Bonneville Speedway road. The road is washboard but not bad at all in comparison to a lot of them we have been on at other sites. There are a lot of spots on this same road in both directions.
If you have dogs with you, this was also a great place to have them off the leash and play fetch since no one was around.
Great spot about 30 minutes from the Yellowstone West Gate. Beautiful views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Lots of spots but we were the only ones here in late October! Good walking area for the dog. Little bit of a bumpy ride down to the camping area but not too bad for our Sprinter.
Amazing views. Campsites go as far as you can see along a cliff overlooking the Badlands about 5 minutes from park entrance. I’d suggest arriving later afternoon to make sure you can find a flatter spot with the best view.
