This is a great little spot stayed a couple of nights, beautiful views, clean bathroom, cold shower. It’s close to the road and the trains go by. They’re kind of loud but part of the topography.
We just stayed for a night they camp was great and had firewood. Clean bathrooms and campsite. Got a tick, that was surprising this time of year great hiking trails will be back
We dropped in after other campgrounds were full. Easy check in great Wi-Fi right on the beach there’s a lot of people watching the Super Bowl but it’s all good glad to be here
The people were friendly I had a great spot on a little creek there was hardly anybody there we had the beach to ourselves it seemed. This place was clean a store with what you need and propane. It was well I will definitely come back. We saw at least seven steelhead salmon come up the river to spawn, breathtaking.
Stopped in last minute, as usual. Really grateful to stay here. It’s by the road, it’s super outdated walking around the property there is trash everywhere it’s definitely Past its heyday it be great if someone could pump some money into this and a little bit of TLC. I dry camp it was 10 bucks and they have a really good Wi-Fi! I was here on the weekend it was crowded and I did not feel comfortable indoors during a pandemic.
Just pulled in here last minute feeling tired and I was able to get a perfect spot in a lovely field all to myself. I don’t really care about hook ups but there’s full hook ups here and I have a nice flat private spot. The owners are super nice and accommodating and it’s near a lot of great attractions and mostly the natural beauty.
This place is right on the river and the freeway! So it’s kind of loud the people are super friendly and had fresh vegetables and home baked goods available. There’s always snacks. All the sites are full hook up I’m pretty sure . They used to have tent sites but no longer. The river is very pretty and I didn’t spend enough time to explore. It’s close to convenient stores.
It cost me $52 because I am not a Massachusetts resident, per night. I got site number one you can hear the hum of the electric station. The Ranger said he doesn’t even notice it anymore. The trails are pretty it’s Labor Day weekend I’m lucky to have a spot. Would not recommend it.
This is a popular spot and it was pretty noisy. The camp host were great. I didn’t have reservations so I had to move around a lot because I wanted to stay for a few days. There’s lots of things to do And the water is just beautiful. Great places to hike around.
There was literally nowhere to camp in the area. The hotels were full too. And this was in the middle of the week! We stayed in a tent site right next to the marina. There was goose poop everywhere. It’s supposed to be first come first serve and the rules seem to change, a lot. The view was great, it was fun to watch the fisherman and be so close to the water. The shower was pretty clean and I did a load of laundry as well. I wouldn’t make this a destination and I was grateful to get the spot I got. they gave me a Wi-Fi password but it didn’t work.
Nice little campground with a shower and toilet very clean quick walk to a great lake to swim and enjoy not crowded nice people.
I stayed an extra night in Valentine so I could do a float down the river. And I saw that you could camp. I asked one of the guides and he said to stay here. It was right after the Fourth of July I stayed for three nights there was hardly anybody there. Got a great spot right on the river. The bathrooms are clean there’s a shower everyone is super friendly. You can hike to the fall or jump in the river Whenever you want because it does get hot. There’s plenty of trees for shade. You can walk around barefoot it’s so clean. I saw fire flies and song birds it was heaven.
It was raining super hard and this is an easy place to check in very friendly swimming pool kids. Able to camp in a quiet spot by the cornfield.
Plenty of places to camp with fire rings. The lake is pretty and you can find a spot right on the lake. If you go a little further just passed the campground you can camp for free. Didn’t like the cow pies in my campsite for what they did to the lake. Stayed for three days we enjoyed ourselves. The road there from burns was pretty easy breezy.
