Beautiful, roomy, remote

This is a beautiful location. Straight off the main road, it felt like 3 miles, but I'm not sure. It was really late when I rolled in. Porta potty, low bandwidth LTE AT&T service. Lots of people staying but plenty of sites. Most were fishing. Check out the awesome hike a Little Grand Canyon. It was one of the best I've done.

Everything you need on the cheap

I’ve been trying out free camping. After three days of hiking I need a shower and some electricity. I’m so glad I did this. Excellent AT&T service, remote worked from my site for four hours today and loaded all my pics from the last two days last night. Bathrooms were spotless and water is drinkable. In fact I can tell the difference from my spring water. My site was funnier than I thought it would be.

Fisherman's paradise

Free up to two weeks, very primitive, all I could do was text from my AT&T phone. Very odd wormy looking things falling from the trees. I forgot where my morning destination was and had to use GPS to feel my way out until I had service again. You'll want a hard copy of your directions if you stay the night.

You can't beat free

Secluded free camping with port a potty, fire rings and a shelter. My AT&T service worked enough for a podcast but not streaming.

I'll be back

This is a beautiful park with lots to do and miles of woods to explore. AT&T cell service was excellent throughout. And camping fees are extremely reasonable. I didn't stay the night but will be back.

Beautiful and secluded

I stopped by for some research. I was only able to get cell service where camping sites 14-17 are located. These site are not shaded. The do appear to be adding additional sites in shadier areas. It's a beautiful spot with minimal people.

Hiking and research

I haven't stayed yet. I did take a nice hike though. It's beautiful and secluded with a small town not to far away.
