Amazing rustic park, DNR was called on us at 9pm for being too loud even thought it was before quiet hours. So if you’re going you can’t be too rowdy. Views are worth it though
Stayed in the rustic park, very quiet and if you get lucky you’ll get a site right on green lake
Really cool campsite, there’s a shelter that you can reserve, but I would recommend a tent because the shelter smells like mildew and is full of spiders. The hike into the campsite is extremely steep and difficult
Really cool area, it’s near the only dark sky park to my knowledge in the lower peninsula. Extremely close to mackinaw, and overall the campsites are all secluded and private from each other.
I’m giving this place 5 stars because of how unique it is. Even if you don’t have an off-road vehicle yourself you can rent one and drive on the sand dunes. Would definitely drive cautiously because the dunes are constantly patrolled.
The trails available here are where I learned to mountain bike, they’re not the easiest but they are not so challenging that you won’t have fun.
Awesome campground, horse trails available, volleyball nets, beach, and trails! Don’t get too rowdy however because the DNR constantly patrols the area.
Really cool campsite for views. Other than that it’s a pretty okay site. It’s extremely close to st. Ignace which is nice.
The campsite itself was nice. No alcohol allowed and the lake was extremely muddy and murky. Not much to do around the area.
I do a yearly trip here and it’s the best campground I have been to. There’s so much to do, it’s extremely clean, there’s showers. The bathrooms are cleaned daily. The campground is always busy and packed so make sure you reserve well in advance.
