Love getting out and seeing the state.

Loved it!

We came her after visiting The Devils Tower heading to Custer State Park. It is a small campground just of the highway. There are vault toilets, fire rings, and water. Very quite and peaceful.

Love it

e of our favorite campgrounds close to home, literally 2 miles as the crow flys. With the new improvements and tent pads just makes for a great camping experience

Hidden Gem

This small State Park just outside Huntsville Arkansas has many amenities. Family friendly handicap accesible. I has 30 tent Rv and walk in tent camping. There is a very nice playground for the kids, a swimming pool in the summer months. Campgrounds are very clean clean and have full bathrooms and showers.

Riverside Camping

The campsite is located on the Mulberry River. It has six campsites, most with elevated grills and fire rings. The campground does have 2 Vault restrooms and a place to dispose of trash. There is no water avalible so bring your own. Very quite and campsites are relativly private.

Stunning Views

The entrance is very understated and underwhelming, you will pass a oil construction area as you enter the park. As you continue driving almost instantly notice the gorge. You will pass three day use areas all of which offer amazing views. Continue to drive until you reach the campground (which by the way is free) there are six campsites situated on the rim of the canyon. All campgrounds have picnic tables, some have covered picnic tables with fire rings. There are very well maintained trails that offer spectacular sights from all direction. There is vault toilets that are very clean, but no electricity, trash or water. So trash in, trash out.

Beautiful View

As we drove around the first more populated side of the lake the tent sites were not what we were looking for, good sites close to the water but the view was blocked by the trees. As we looked around we noticed there was South side so we decided to check it out. Wow!! The tent campsites were more secluded and the view of lake was gorgeous. They have electric hook ups, developed w/o electric. There are several little loops to check out with a vault bathroom close by.
