Unserviced and dirty

Limited water (20gal a day). No hookups, no trash service and no rv dumping, bathrooms are pit toilets and very dirty. I have been here 3 separate times across three weeks and noticed everything like that bathrooms were extremely stinky and dirty. Have to walk to the entrance of the campground to dispose of any trash.

Simple campground at a beautiful location

Can get crowded over the weekends but the campground is at a stunning location. No water, electric or trash services, and no firewood available at the campground.

Pricy but clean

A very nice and clean campground. Restrooms were incredibly clean and there are hot showers. It was $33 for a night at a standout site if you're from out of state. There's a railway track right next to the campground and sees a lot of use even through the night. They have five first sites that are first come first served.

Convenient location

Campgrounds are very close to the park entrance and a short walk away from the shuttles. Tent Campsites are pretty close to each other so you don’t have a lot of privacy. Flush toilets and multiple sinks in toilets and a dishwashing station right outside. My campsite had some shade. I camped here late October 2020 and fire restrictions were in affect which meant no campfires or charcoal fires. You need a ticket to board the bus that must be purchased in advance. Alternatively, you can hike or bike to the trailheads.

Cleanest campground I have ever been to

Large campsites and each campsite has a dedicated area for putting up a tent that is filled with soft red sand. Each campsite has A large shade and wind shelter with a metal camping bench in the middle. A fire pit with a grill to the side that is absolutely clean. No leftover ash from previous campfires.

This campground has super clean flush toilets and more importantly individual restrooms (not gender shared).

For RVs, most campsites have electrical hookups and some with very large pull throughs / driveways.

The campsite is a mile from the dead horse point overlook and you’re missing something special if you haven’t seen it. Lots of bicycle trails around as well. Fire wood can be bought at the park’s visitor center. No portable water so bring water with you before arriving.
