I was in space 9 with a view of a waterfall. That was pretty great. It was late June and unseasonably hot. The river was extremely cold and running fast due to the snow melt so I didn't spend time in the water. The water in the hose wasn't clear so I wouldn't use it for drinking without boiling but the 🚻 are clean and stocked. I enjoyed my time there and recommend it for a peaceful camping experience.
We've camped here for several years. This year, in the time of Covid and masks, I was impressed with their commitment to safety. We had a great time as always, and wore our masks whenever we left the campsite. Bonus points for ice that costs less than the grocery store sells it for.
It's a long walk to the river. The swimming pools were packed solid. There were so many people and so much noise and dust. Not really a back to nature experience. But on the plus side, there is a store, responsive staff, security at night and hot water.
