Noisy

A short trail to the actual beach. Open, close campsites. Vault toilets - not stinky. City water behind brown building at corner of parking lot. Airport close by - last flight midnight, first flight 4:30 AM. Highway noise. Some fireworks after dark from the Day Use side.

Good stopover for a tenter

Clean showers! A little noisy, but I slept well. Very well maintained. Cooled off at night and wind died down.

Quiet beauty. And WIND!

Wind blew my tent down (one pole was weak and I couldn’t stake all corners in the rocks). Vault toilet. Water only from reservoir.

Showers, water, electric/$20

Also coin laundry. Close to highway, but quiet at night. I slept well. Some shady sites for tent. Cooled off good at night. Good stopover while traveling.

Perfect for me

NF site, no facilities. Very quiet, only heard the creek rushing on a weeknight. No lights, which I prefer. Vault toilet (didn’t use, I pack ‘it’ out. No site numbers. Mine had a nice little clamber down to the (what looks and feels to me like) the spring fed creek. I slept great!

Nice little park

As a tent camper, I prefer dark nights. Lots of lights here, but I slept well anyway. Very little road noise. Open, breezy setting, nice for summer. Various amounts of shade. Nice “comfort station” with showers. (Haven’t yet seen the falls, got in late.)

Love this place

Primitive campsite by the lake. Quiet (except for occasional jets), private, perfect frog lullabies after dark, many species of wildflowers (due to a good burn regimen), nice breeze most of the time.

Mostly RVs, great creek

As a tent camper, this cg has more lights than I prefer. Good restroom, no shower. Site #s in the 20s-40s are beside the cold creek (a godsend for camping in summer!). Campsites are good sized but a bit close, none really private. Pretty good shade.
