This is my favorite area for dispersed camping in the area. Lost Horse creek is beautiful. Can get a little tight with campers in peak season.
Spent two nights here along the river. Nice Camp store with everything you would need and it’s close to town.
Spent several one nighter’s here. Quiet and beautiful. Lots and f trail for hiking. Close enough to Missoula or the other communities in the bitterroot valley.
Spent 3 months here on contract. Very nice staff and the grounds were kept up nice. Spaces can be a little crowded but our overall visit was good. No security concerns.
Spent 6 months here. Had no issues and staff was friendly. Only thing is it’s close to the interstate so noise is an issue. Would stay here again though.
Love staying here! Big campground with lots of great bike paths to all the attractions. Rent a bike if needed. The shipwreck and military history are wonderful. Highly recommend!
Spent a night here in C loop. Beautiful park with great history.
Wow! Timothy lake is beautiful. Great trail access around the entire lake. Only down side is the ants.
Had a great Site. Nice camp hosts. Very clean and well maintained.
Stay one night here with a view from f the bridge and ocean!
Spent two nights here during the salmon fly hatch. Stay in site 12. Primitive but the landscape is wild. Felt like I was in a western film from the 1950’s.
Has a nice 1 night stay. Small creek running through makes for some white noise. Loved it!
Spend a night. No cost although that will change next weekend. They’ll start charging $10.
Spent an overnight here. Very clean and updated. Close proximity to trials and hywy 93.
Tried the lower campground but every spot seemed full or reserved. Decided to check this out and definitely made the right decision. Beautiful little blm managed spot. Pit was about a third full and quiet for my night.
