Coyotes and trains, OH MY!

Nice little place. The road gets a bit rough. I personally would not want to drive anything bigger than a camper van down there but there are quite a few bug turnaround spots and some nice big sites. Be careful going into the sites as there is a dip. My Kia seemed to think I was just nose diving into a crevice as I was getting across with all its sensors screaming at me. Some coyotes came through camp at some point during the night. I heard them howling from a distance but only knew they came into camp because they left footprints in the frost. Only one other person was out there so nice and quiet

Nice spit right off the freeway

Nice little place. Bit wet right now but there were plenty of dry sites. There were lots of people when I got there but they all mostly cleared out by night time. Bathrooms are currently closed but there was a Porta potty.

Only weird thing was about every 30 mins one of two unmarked suvs would make the full circle of the grounds . I say unmarked because I thought they might be staff but nothing on tbe vehicle told me so. They also moved at a pretty fast clip and splashed mud everywhere.

They never stopped or even seemed to notice me so I felt plenty safe but I am also almost 6ft and 300 lbs so I don't usually have to worry as much as smaller/ female presenting people.

Cold but beautiful

Stopped here for the night for a cross country car camping trip. It was beautiful there a d very empty at this time of year. Definitely recommend this place
