This is exposed (mostly treeless) site on the Deschutes River about 2 miles of highway 26. No shade and exposed sites.  Is in narrow valley with grassland.

The dirt road in single lane and rough.

There were open sites (off season) but popular with fly fishermen.

Went after labor day and the campground was mostly empty. Nice creek for a quick swim. Closes for season in mid Sept.

This campground is 6mi (paved) off the main road. It was a quiet wooded site with small number of sites. We did get woken by noisy cows each morning.
