Not the best place to go pitch a tent but it is a nice little community. Access to North Center lake and the Chain of lakes in the area.
Not great for tent campers but wonderful for seasonal living and RVs. Right on South Center lake which gives access to the chain of lakes in the area. Great fishing in this particular bay as well, bass along the weeds all summer.
Really nice area with a pretty drive but this is a retreat center not a campground. They did have some nice looking archery trails though!
Super nice area very scenic great bathroom facilities. Cabins are nice and have great woods and trails around them.
Maybe a campground around here somewhere but the location brings you to a residential neighborhood 🤷♀️
Check out the location before going to sites through the Dyrt lots are not campgrounds.
This is a center for rent not a campground but Lebanon Hills Group Sites are over here. Gate is closed to the road though.
Definitely check this place out great campsites for tent camping right next door to the MN Zoo campsites nicely wooded spread out nicer than some state park campgrounds. Definitely going to check it out again.
If you’re looking for an RV Park in the Shakopee/Savage area this place is nice. Game room small pool unfortunately all closed due to COVID but super cute little park.
Not a campground pretty sure it’s all season rentals and people live here.
Looked like people just live here now so much development behind it I believe the campground is gone.
The spots seemed smaller and the road was interesting to get into narrow and hilly didn’t seem like big campers could get in there as easy. Tent pads mainly gravel some with grassy-ish spots. Amazing location though you can’t beat the north shore! Do the full shovel point hike it’s an amazing view
Sites leaning towards more of an rv type of site with the gravel and lots of large rocks in the ground but an amazing location. The hiking trails are fantastic and they have many hike in sites that appear to be in super cool locations. We are definitely making a return trip here!
Like most campgrounds some sights are better then other but we scored a good one this time! The cement fire pit ring up on top with a picnic table and room for chairs the tent pad is a hard pack of sand and pebbles so better then the usually gravel site. The mixture of trees surrounding are beautiful. Great vibes at this campground. Nice new bathroom facilities you do need a code to open the door so make sure you grab that! Definitely worth the stay if your visiting up this way. Plus the proximity to Fall Lake is outstanding. Beautiful campground 10/10 recommend
Beautiful state park with a funky layout. Campsites are very pretty but sites are mostly gravel not ideal for tents more aimed at the rvs. 100-200 campsites seem better for tents over 300 sites. 100-200 have some grassy tent pads with a cool layout. Check it out!
The chase point trail is a must see! The campsites in the Lodge campground seemed small, site was all gravel not great for tent unless you bring thick sleeping pads. Close to neighbors but is nicely wooded. Beautiful nighttime views and a very quiet campground at night.
Spots were nice small. Dirt ground and tent pad. Each site had a fire ring and picnic table as well as a food box (we’re assuming) most sites fairly visible from the trail but not all. Bathrooms near by clusters of sites but did not appear to have toilet paper so you gotta bring your own.
Cool campsites some better than others fairly wooded spots seem a bit bigger more open for bigger campers. Nice campground overall. Bathrooms were closed when we visited.
