I had a friend stay in the tent area and she had to leave in the middle of the night because the raccoons were so bad. The couple a few sites down had their tent destroyed. She had all of her food and smelly things locked in her car.

We stayed 4 nights at A001. The tent pad is not even but the view made up for it. This is a walk up site. The walk to your car is less than 30 seconds. The sites next to our are both an uphill walk from your car.

There is nothing to break the wind and our tent took a beating. It’s very windy at different points in the day so keep that in mind.

The flushing toilets are clean and the solar shower stalls were super nice. The closest vault toilet is the smelliest vault toilet I’ve ever experienced. My wife and I both gagged.

Plenty of wildlife roam through the campsite. It’s also close to where they sell ice and wood.
