Hot in summer, not as good as driving just 20 more minutes to Flagstaff to park/in the pines, but not bad for a few days/nights. Quiet, BLM, 14 day stay.

Dirt parking lot at the trailhead for overnight parking. Not for long-term camping. Frequented by the locals for the walk.
No lake here
One of the most trashed and torn up places around Flagstaff
2nd best place in Flagstaff
Open, spacious, short trees, quiet
Not bad
It's dusty, but quiet, remote, beautiful and you will never be alone. This place is very popular with van life, RV life, you name it. 2nd night here, if you're exploring Sedona, it's a free place to camp for 14 days.
